About Bond Construction
Bond Construction is owned and managed by Jason and Emma Franklin who are supported by an experienced team of site agents and skilled craftsmen.
Jason is the fourth generation of his family to carve a career in the building industry. He followed the time-honoured path to success by starting as an Apprentice Carpenter, learning about all aspects of the building trade. Qualifying with a Distinction, Jason gained more experience and responsibility and progressed to running projects as a Contracts Manager before setting up his own business. At Bond Construction Jason has overall responsibility for the performance of the company and its operations. He oversees many of the larger projects, as well as the company’s tendering and estimating functions. Jason is trusted for his honest and practical advice, and has an extensive network of professional contacts. Jason is supported by an estimator as well as a team of project managers and site agents.
Emma manages all office functions at Bond Construction. Highly organised and efficient, she and her office team are responsible for project administration including contracts, marketing, training programmes, accounts/payroll, supplier contracts and PA to Jason.
We believe that apprentices are the key to the future success of Bond Construction and the building industry. We run a highly successful apprenticeship scheme which lasts for three years and provides a mix of on the job training and external study. Every apprentice has chosen to remain with Bond Construction after qualification.
We are delighted to be members of The Guild of Master Craftsmen whose major objective is to promote high standards of quality and service.
As a further assurance to clients we belong to the Federation of Master Builders which is committed to the highest standards of customer service and standards in the building industry. We fully abide by its Code of Practice.
Quality, health, safety and environmental procedures are instilled in every employee and operative working on our sites. All Site Agents have completed their Site Supervisor’s Safety Course and most of our employees are first aid trained. Bond Construction employs a specialist Health & Safety and Environment advisor to monitor our systems. Before using any plant or machinery staff must possess the necessary certificates of competence. For commercial projects a separate Construction Design and Management (CDM) Coordinator is also employed to manage health risks and ensure compliance with legislation.
