How we work

At Bond Construction we consider every job to be important, whatever the value. A small repair job can be a cause of great anxiety to a householder, especially if it involves work at height or sensitive restoration.

Before any project is undertaken, a visit to the site or property will almost certainly be required. This is important to ensure that the full scope of work is discussed and understood with the client, and that any constraints – such as limited access or neighbouring properties – are taken into account. After the site visit a written quotation will be prepared which will need to be agreed before work can be started.

Larger projects may involve the use of an architect and permission may need to be obtained from the local authority. Additional permissions may also be required from other bodies such as English Heritage if the original building is of architectural or historical significance.

Bond Construction has the capability to provide clients with a “design and build” service with a single point of responsibility for the entire process, however we are also very willing to work with architects and their clients to ensure that what is proposed on paper can be constructed effectively and efficiently on site.
